NDRC: To encourage the cities with restriction on auto purchases to appropriately increase quotas for automobile purchases in the second half of the year
On August 5, the National Development and Reform Commission stated that China will accelerate the promotion of high-quality development of new types of consumption such as smart retail and online education, promote the transformation and upgrading of consumption of automobiles and home appliances, and encourage cities with purchase restrictions to appropriately increase and relax the purchase limits on automobiles. The restrictions on purchases of new energy vehicles will be relaxed, and the governments will provide appropriate subsidies to the purchase of new energy vehicles.

The sales of power batteries begun to recover in July

This is the first time that domestic battery installed capacity has achieved double growth this year. Among them, the installed power of new energy passenger car batteries was about 3.58GWh, a year-on-year increase of 61%; the installed power of passenger car batteries was about 1.06GWh, a year-on-year decrease of 55%.
FAW signed framework agreement for cooperation with Jinlin and State Grid
