2020-06-08 15:26:57

In  May, the inventory warning index of Chinese auto dealers was 54.2%, a decrease of 4.6 percentage points from the previous month and up 0.4 percentage point comparing with that of the same month of last year. The inventory warning index was still above entrepreneurs confidence threshold. From the perspective of brand indexes: The survey shows that in May 2020, the inventory warning index of import & luxury brand models increased comparing with that of last month, while the indexes of products of mainstream JVs and indigenous enterprises both declined from last month. The sales of indigenous enterprises had not fulfilled the targets and they had heavy inventory pressures due to the policies for reducing the preferential to ensure the profits.
